Mike organised a three-day safari for us in the Eastern Cape and it exceeded all our expectations. We saw the Big Five, stayed in a beautiful lodge, and the game drives were incredible. Having Mike handle all the logistics meant we could just relax and enjoy the experience. Absolutely world-class.

Such a lovely half-day tour. The penguins were adorable and Mike knew exactly where to go to see them up close. The drive along False Bay was stunning and he stopped at Muizenberg for us to photograph the colourful beach huts. Perfect for families. Our children are still talking about it weeks later.

We did a four-day Garden Route trip with Mike and it was the highlight of our three weeks in South Africa. Tsitsikamma was jaw-dropping, Knysna was charming, and the Cango Caves were incredible. Mike went above and beyond to make sure every day was special. Worth every cent.

Mike made our Cape Point tour absolutely unforgettable. His knowledge of the peninsula’s history and wildlife was incredible, and he took us to viewpoints we never would have found on our own. Chapman’s Peak Drive was breathtaking, and having a private guide meant we could stop whenever we wanted for photos. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Kirstenbosch was even more beautiful than we imagined, and the Boomslang walkway was a real highlight. Mike then took us to Groot Constantia where we learned about 300 years of winemaking history while tasting some excellent wines. A wonderfully relaxing half day with a knowledgeable and genuinely warm guide.

We spent a wonderful day in the Winelands with Mike. He clearly has great relationships with the estates he visits, and the tastings felt much more personal than anything we could have arranged ourselves. The wine and chocolate pairing in Franschhoek was a highlight. A truly world-class experience.

I have done wine tours in Napa, Tuscany, and Bordeaux, and this was right up there with the best. The estates Mike chose were intimate and uncrowded, the wines were exceptional, and the scenery was out of this world. Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are absolutely beautiful. A must-do when visiting Cape Town.

Mike is the best guide we have ever had, anywhere in the world. He picked us up right on time, took us to Table Mountain before the crowds arrived, and then showed us corners of Cape Town that most tourists never see. The Bo-Kaap was magical. His passion for his city is infectious.

We saw seven whales from the cliff path in Hermanus. Seven! Mike knew exactly where to position us and we watched a mother and calf for nearly twenty minutes. The wine tasting in Hemel-en-Aarde afterwards was the perfect way to end the day. An experience I will never forget.

A fantastic day out on the Cape Peninsula. The scenery was spectacular and Mike was full of interesting stories about the area’s history. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that it was quite windy at Cape Point, but that is nature, not Mike! He handled everything brilliantly.

Mike collected us early to beat the queues at Table Mountain and it was absolutely worth it. We had the summit almost to ourselves. The city tour afterwards covered so much ground, from the colourful Bo-Kaap to the history of the Castle of Good Hope. Mike is professional, punctual, and a wonderful storyteller.

A charming tour with a charming guide. The penguins at Boulders Beach were delightful and Simon’s Town is a lovely little place to explore. Mike recommended a wonderful cafe for lunch. The coastal drive back was beautiful. A very pleasant half day.
